A new South African book is examining why we’re so drawn to stories about the so-called occult.

In her book “The Devil made me do it” , author and Wits professor Nicky Falkof explains why she believes these stories often distract us from the real causes of violence in society.

It’s one of the titles being showcased at this weekend’s Kingsmead Book Fair - in partnership with HOT1027.
