Coming to Durban next weekend at The Seabrooke’s Theatre, Durban High School, this powerful production stars Ashley Dowds in a critically acclaimed performance as Eddie/Elvis du Pisanie - a struggling husband and father whose deep connection to Elvis Presley becomes a lifeline during the darkest moments of his life. Written by renowned South African playwright Paul Slabolepszy, the play blends humour, heartbreak, and raw honesty into a deeply human story that has been praised as “a masterclass in acting” by reviewer Sam Nupen. Catch the show on the 8th and 9th at 7pm, and the 10th of May at 2:30pm.
