Herc Cut The Lights (born 14 May 1998) is a multi-platinum selling producer, DJ, and sound engineer who has emerged as one of the most versatile "sonic architects" in African music today. Born in Johannesburg and raised in Midrand, South Africa, Herc is of Malawian heritage, a background that informs his unique ability to blend diverse genres.
