Lerato Sengadi is a Soweto-born marketing strategist, PR specialist, and cultural thought leader with over 15 years of experience in South Africa’s advertising and entertainment industries. A graduate of the AAA School of Advertising, she began her career in copywriting before carving out a powerful niche in PR and brand development, eventually rising to head Humanz South Africa as General Manager. Known for her data-driven yet culture-conscious approach to influencer marketing, Sengadi champions authenticity, fair pay, and meaningful collaboration between brands and creators. Beyond her corporate leadership, she is a vocal advocate for transformation, inclusion, and structural change within the industry, calling for policies that genuinely empower women and black talent.
Publicly recognized long before her marriage to the late HHP, Sengadi built her own legacy as a media personality, including appearances on Big Brother Africa 2 and Big Brother Africa: All-Stars. Today, she stands as an award-winning, influential black female creative and activist whose historic legal victory against patriarchy has cemented her place in South Africa’s cultural and legal landscape.
