With a career spanning over 20 years, Chris Forrest is regarded as one of South Africa’s most versatile and enduring entertainers, seamlessly blending stand-up comedy, television, film, culinary arts and corporate hosting. A stalwart of the comedy scene since the late 1990s, he has performed at premier platforms locally and internationally, including the Edinburgh Festival, The Lyric Theatre in London, Ghana’s Round Table Comedy Show, Botswana and Swaziland festivals, and South Africa’s 46664 “It’s No Joke” showcase as one of the country’s top 10 comics. His television highlights include The Pure Monate Show ,Comedy Central Presents Live at Parker’s, multiple Comedy Central specials, Sorted, Kompleks, So You Think You’re Funny, LOL and hosting Is That A Fact? on SABC, along with numerous talk show appearances. In film, he has appeared in Straight Outta Benoni, White Wedding, Blitz Patrollie, Footskating 101 and deleted scenes of District 9.
