A new MNP Consumer Debt Index shows Saskatchewan residents are bracing for a difficult 2026, with 72% expecting the cost of living to rise. The survey also found Saskatchewan residents are more financially stretched than any other province, with half saying they are within $200 of not being able to pay their monthly bills.
