In both Old and New Testament there is not a shadow of variation in the doctrine of the Sabbath. The Ten Commandments are the only message God has ever personally written out for the human race. They are so important that He wrote them on stone with His own finger (as the saying goes, "cast in stone"), denoting the permanence of that law, including the Sabbath.
