September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. While the last 50 years we’ve seen extraordinary advances in paediatric oncology care on an international level, sadly, these advances have not impacted all populations equally; the gap in care has widened as the most vulnerable children have been left behind.
That’s why it’s important for organisations like the Breathe Foundation exist. They do phenomenal work in this space – Silvia Craucamp is their CEO.
