The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the United Nations General Assembly that the IDF offensive into Gaza City would continue. But shortly after his speech US President Trump said he was "close to a deal" on the Palestinian enclave. The deal is reported to include the potential for former Prime Minister Sir Tony Blair to head up a transition administration in the Gaza Strip.
