Forvis Mazars has released its C-suite Barometer 2025, capturing the views of more than 1,700 executives in over 35 countries, including South Africa. The survey reveals a paradox: business leaders remain optimistic about growth, yet face unprecedented challenges from rising competition, regulatory complexity, and global instability.



Globally, 93% of executives expect growth in 2025, with 85% reporting growth in the past year. However, the report warns that confidence in leaders’ ability to manage external pressures – from inflation and regulatory shifts to talent shortages has declined.
