A new crime prevention initiative is underway in the Battlefords. Saskatchewan RCMP officers in that area are now running property crime prevention police night patrols, involving officers patrolling on foot and bicycles, in both police uniforms and civilian clothes patrolling Battleford and North Battleford to target and deter property crimes.
