UN Inquiry Declares Israel’s War on Gaza Genocide

A UN Commission of Inquiry has declared Israel’s war on Gaza a genocide – directly naming Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant as responsible. Chairwoman Navi Pillay says their statements and orders showed genocidal intent. “It is the State of Israel that has committed genocide,” the report states. Israel has slammed the findings as “fake” and “Hamas propaganda”. But for many, the UN’s conclusion marks the strongest international censure yet after nearly two years of war.
