A recent Brand Finance Africa study shows growing enthusiasm for women’s sports, with more female fans engaged now than five years ago. This momentum is supported by government’s new National Policy on Women in Sport aimed at driving equality and visibility through equitable recognition for women in the sporting world including equal pay for equal work at professional levels. This proves women’s sport in South Africa is thriving, backed by both community support and policy change.

Joining us on Sports Corner is award-winning broadcaster Lonwabo Miso, renowned for her work on SABC Sport and Radio 2000, and celebrated for her advocacy in amplifying women’s voices and challenging stereotypes in the sporting world.
