Mining is a huge part of our provincial economy in Saskatchewan. It's a necessary industry, but there are some environmental concerns that can be raised with certain aspects of the industry. Dr. Morgane Desmau (Morgan / "DEZ-mo"), researcher at the University of Moncton, former staff scientist at the Canadian Light Source, is working to make mining more sustainable. She joins Brent Loucks to drill into her research into cleaning contaminated waters in colder climates.
