The rate of femicide in South Africa is six times higher than the global average, with at least 15 women being murdered every day, this is a devastating reality that s gripping the antion. Today we are joined by Cameron Kasambala, Community Manager at Women for Change, a South African non-profit dedicated to combating Gender-Based Violence and Femicide. The organisation amplifies survivor stories, raises public awareness, and recently put pressure on policymakers during the National Convention in Pretoria.
In her personal capacity, Cameron is completing her honours in Psychology at the South African College of Applied Psychology, bringing expertise in mental health and child psychology to her advocacy work.
