
Operation Dudula vows to continue ID checks after clinic arrests

Three women linked to Operation Dudula were released on warning after being arrested for allegedly storming a Soweto clinic and demanding patient ID documents. They’re facing charges including public violence and trespassing. Outside court, Dudula supporters gathered in protest. Operation Dudula President Zandile Dabula says the arrests were meant to “frustrate” them but insists their ID checks will continue. She also accused the state of using “apartheid-style” tactics.
