producer, and the CEO and Founder of Zikhona Sodlaka
Productions, a trailblazing company dedicated to fostering bold,
African-led storytelling across screen, stage, and beyond. With a
celebrated career spanning two decades, Sodlaka has become
one of the country’s most respected and beloved performers,
renowned for her emotional depth, commanding screen presence,
and ability to embody characters with fierce authenticity. Her
breakout role in the Emmy-nominated Tsha Tsha laid the
foundation for a career that would include some of South Africa’s
most culturally impactful productions, including Rhythm City, Soul
