Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr Mimmy Gondwe, recently led a successful Mandela Month outreach at the Phakamile Community Learning Centre (CLC), part of Eastern CET College in Kariega.
This initiative marked the first national Mandela Month outreach by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) focused on the community college sector.
The outreach achieved two key goals: providing much-needed refurbishments to Phakamile CLC and raising public awareness of the vital role community colleges play in providing access to skills and education.
