ActionSA Opens Fraud Case Against Top Rustenburg Municipal Official

Rustenburg’s Municipal Manager allegedly failed, among others, to prevent unauthorized expenditure amounting to over R10 million and to prevent irregular expenditure of over R330 million. ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba and local councillors have laid fraud and corruption charges against Advocate Ashmar Khuduge. The party says the case was opened against Khuduge for his role as the municipality’s accounting officer and his alleged involvement in financial misconduct.
