IN CONVERSATION WITH FULUFHELO MALAPA

Joining us in studio today is a young creative force whose work speaks volumes without saying a word. Born in 2000 in the Limpopo province Fulufhelo Malapa discovered his love for art at the age of 10. Today, he’s a bold abstract and neo-expressionist visual artist, known for his emotionally rich, mixed media pieces crafted with acrylics, water paint, wax crayons, charcoal, and fine liners.
He works primarily on canvas and paper, creating deeply personal artworks that explore the human condition through raw, honest expression. Every piece he creates tells a story — of comfort, joy, vulnerability, and healing.
As Fulufhelo puts it, 'My art is a reflection of my inner world — a manifestation of my thoughts, emotions, and experiences.' He invites us to look deeper, to feel, and to connect.
