Kunene Must Go": DA calls for MMC’s head after police find him at murder suspect link

Controversy surrounds Johannesburg Transport MMC Kenny Kunene after he was found at the home of businessman Katiso Molefe’s home during his arrest. Now, the DA is calling for his immediate removal. Kunene claims he was at Molefe’s Sandton property "by coincidence" - Molefe is facing charges related to the murder of DJ Sumbody. But DA Gauteng Caucus Leader Belinda Kayser-Echeozonjoku says Kunene’s continued presence in office "brings the entire executive into disrepute." The DA has rejected Patriotic Alliance leader Gayton McKenzie’s internal investigation into the matter. Phemelo speaks to Kayser-Echeozonjoku.
