The Azanian People’s Organisation (AZAPO) extends a hand of solidarity and support to the brave people of the Rif in their protracted liberation struggle for National Selfdetermination under the leadership and direction of the Rif Nationalist Party (PNR).
AZAPO recognises the indisputable historical fact that the Riffian people are indigenous to the geographical location called the Rif. Further, we recognise and salute the Riffian people for their revolutionary and heroic struggles that resulted in their liberation and the establishment of the sovereign state of the Republic of the Rif under the fearless and revolutionary sound leadership of His Excellency President Mohamed Ben Abdelkrim ElKhattabi on 18 September 1923.
