Sassa Fraud Charges Classified as Schedule 5

The Lenasia Magistrate's court has categorised the 260 million Rand SASSA fraud case as a schedule 5 matter. 11 suspects including SASSA officials applied for bail . They were arrested after being implicated in an elaborate scheme involving fake cards used to siphon funds from the agency. The defense lawyers have argued their clients should be granted bail because they will not endanger to the public.
