Last week was National Palliative Care Week in Canada. But a common misconception about the service is that it's only provided for patients close to death. Dr. James MacMillan, Palliative Care doctor at St. Paul's Hospital and Board Member of the Canadian Society of Palliative Medicine (CSPM), joins Evan to explain what palliative care is and how misconceptions are harmful to patients of all ages.
