The announcement came amid international condemnation of Rwanda's alleged backing of the M23 group, which seized control of the city of Goma this week in the Democratic Republic of Congo's mineral-rich east. The team engaged on the role music or artists play in uniting people. They asked listeners, "is it fair for artists to protect their brands and not perform in countries involved in conflicts or they must pick a side to give a voice to these situations?"
