City Power has been conducting an operation to disconnect illegally connected water and electricity at Johannesburg Social Housing Company (JOSHCO) properties across the city. Recent disconnections at City Deep (20 January 2025) and Kliptown Flats (15 January 2025) have highlighted ongoing issues of tampering and vandalism.
