Gauteng Health and Wellness MEC Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko unveiled plans to roll out contraceptive implants for schoolgirls across the province. The controversial initiative, aimed at reducing teen pregnancies, will be carried out only with parental consent. The team deliberated over the MEC's plans and their effectives, asking parents if they would give such consent.
