The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority reported a total of almost N$230 million in unclaimed benefits from retirement funds, in 2022. It remains the duty of the Board of Trustees of each fund to ensure that the beneficiaries of this money is traced contacted and paid their respective benefit, and if they still remain untraceable for a period, the processes in the Administration of Estates Act must be followed.
