Research at the University of Regina is getting a boost when it comes to funding for dementia studies. The Government of Canada has set aside more than $4.4 million for scholars from the U of R, including assistant professor Dr. Natasha Gallant, to study reducing social isolation and loneliness for older adults in the interest of preventing or delaying dementia. Dr. Gallant joins Brent Loucks to share the impact of this funding and her research.
