Lonehill rallies to get their local cycling legend to the world champs

Community members in and around Lonehill are doing their best to raise funds to get an 80-year-old cyclist to Denmark for the world championships in August.

Karel Dolak is well-known in the cycling fraternity for his 88km round-trips to the Cradle of Humankind.

Now , he’s been invited to take part in the upcoming champs – around his 81st birthday.
