The Independent Electoral Commission found itself trending on X last night. But it says there should be no reason for anger or panic. Allegations that the elections have been manipulated were rife on the social media platform, after people noticed that national numbers suddenly doubled for some parties, including the ANC, on its website. The IEC’s Chief Electoral Officer, Sy Mamabolo, joined Sizwe Dhlomo to clear the confusion relating to the update of the election results update.
