An unprecedented National Assembly sitting to take place

The first sitting of the National Assembly is expected to be held at 10am on Friday, whether President of the country as well as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Parliament will be elected. Sol Phenduka invited Researcher at Department of Public Law at UCT, Mbekezeli Benjamin, to break down how this process will unfold. They also touched on implications should issues arise to prevent this process from taking place.
