The St Olaf Choir from Northfield in Minnesota in the United States are touring South Africa in June 2024. They are conducted by Dr Anton Armstrong. Otto van der Walt had a telephonic conversation with Dr Armstrong about his start in conducting at an early age and moving to Northfield to study conducting. He also gives great insight into the St Olaf Choir’s sound and his philosophy on the use of the voice in an ensemble setup.
