The national conference of the Integrated Criminal Justice System and the Review of
the Criminal Procedure Act (CPA) wrapped up today after 3 days. The conference
dealt with reviewing the CPA that was enacted in 1977. The goal is to overhaul it and
bring it up to date with the modern era. Phemelo speaks to the Department of Justice
and Correctional Services Spokesperson, Chrispin Phiri.
