Residents affected by flooding in Denver say if heavy rains continue their informal structures will
collapse. The say the City has merely dumped them like animals in an area that is not suitable for
human beings to live in. They claim their structures have erected on top of an old basement where
illegal miners operate at night. The residents were displaced by a fire at the Usindiso building in the
Johannesburg CBD last year where 77 people died. Phemelo speaks to Kaya News Reporter Keneiloe
