Daily Thought | Verse: John 1:29

‘Look! The Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world!’

As we prepare for Christmas, may we never forget the reason for the season.
It is a time when we celebrate the coming of the Lamb of God.
He came so that the weight of sin could be lifted and removed from us.
As a result we can know freedom and peace with our God.

Prayer: Lord, I recognise the significance of this wonderful season of the year. It is significant because You came and now I can know the forgiveness of my sin and the gift You bring – eternal life for me.

Amen.
