The Minister of Sport, Nathi Mthethwa, informed Cricket SA of his intention to invoke Section 13 of the Sports Act. "This basically means he's going to withdraw funding - which is not the end of the world for cricket - but the bigger problem is withdrawing recognition, meaning you cannot play as a national team."
