Providing some comfort on World Kidney Day

On World Kidney Day , many vulnerable children awaiting transplants or going through dialysis will be getting a bit of comfort and support, thanks to the generosity of HOT1027 listeners.

Through the “Zane Project”, patients here in Gauteng are given a unicorn teddy to keep them company on their journey.

They’re called “Mini- Zanes” , and the thing that makes these unicorns so special , is that they’ve all got one zebra leg.
