Wheelchair Dexterity Challenge 2023

On the 3rd of March, 2023, the Windhoek Central Hospital, Occupational Therapy department planned a wheelchair dexterity challenge. The event's focus was to raise awareness among non-wheelchair users about the daily struggles’ wheelchair users experience in Namibia on a daily basis and to raise funds to build a wheelchair obstacle course for the training of wheelchair users. Jacques and Odile spoke to the organizers and a local wheel-chair user activist to find out more about the event and what can be done to improve the lifestyle of all wheel-chair users in Namibia.
