Having started at the age of 14, with the late Johnny Mekoa’s Music Academy of Gauteng, Mthunzi went on to tour extensively with the institution’s big-band before embarking on his solo career. He has since been featured on 19 albums of other artists, and now we celebrate his own brand new debut album, ‘The 1st Gospel’.
