I Built My Own Plane in Krugersdorp

A Krugersdorp man has designed and built his own plane.

Aircraft engineer Kevin Hopper started designing “The Orion Cub” back in 2012 , but he had to put his plans on ice with no way to fund it.

With the help of his son Dean and his friend Aidan Cantin, the trio spent 20 months building the one of a kind plane and Kevin got to tick a big one of his bucket list.
