Phuti Lekoloane's struggle with homophobia in sports

To mark International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia DJ Complexion and Mpho Mashita had a conversation with South Africa's first openly gay soccer player and Founder of Phuti Lekoloane Foundation, Phuti Lekoloane aka Phuti Minaj.

He came out in 2015 and he has consistently spoken out about ongoing challenges within the sporting world in terms of living openly. He has dedicated himself to being an activist for LGBT+ rights and recognition in sports.
