Stacey and J Sbu reflect on the George Floyd case verdict

"I can't breathe" was the phrase that was heard around the world and the 20th of April 2021 is the day this family has been anxiously waiting for.

Many months and a three-week trial later, what seemed like the entire world held its breath, as it waited in suspense for the final verdict to be delivered.

After less than 11 hours, the jury had found Derek Chauvin guilty on all charges. Floyd's brother Rodney was at the courthouse, but the rest of his family members had to wait at home to hear the final verdict. It is a moment filled with so much emotion it almost feels as if you are there.

Stacey and J Sbu shared their reaction to Chauvin's sentence and what it means to them.
